My family is from New England, I've been a southern transplant since I was a toddler, but I wanted to surprise my mom with some traditional New England clam cakes and my grandpa's specialty French meat pie for Thanksgiving dinner (and added New England clam chowder for good measure). Thank you so much for making this possible by shipping all the way to NC. It was packed completely frozen, and with the utmost care! I admit, I snuck a couple clam cakes to try before the holiday. 🙈 OMG......DELICIOUS!! I will be ordering again!!

We have been to Cove Surf and Turf twice and both times have been very pleased. Our server Diana is genuinely kind, the food is delicious and the restaurant, nice and clean. The complimentary clamcakes are a nice touch, and a precursor to a wonderful main dish. The little bar is adorable, and although we've never been in the warmer weather, it looks like it would be a lot of fun!

I love absolutely everything about cove surf and turf. The food, the service, the atmosphere. It is all amazing! The real star of the show is the food. I love that the fish and chips are always super hot and crispy. The clam chowder is full of clams. I have never had a meal that I didn't like there. The staff is so friendly and accommodating.

Online ordered the Clam Roll. Went to pick it up and it was ready when I got there. The clams were absolutely delicious and the fries were good to. The only issue was that I ordered extra tartar sauce but it didn't come with the order. No problem though the clams were so delicious I didn't need it.

Great little place. Always fresh and delicious seafood offerings. Fish bowl drinks with gummy worms and I highly recommend the Cowboy smash burger. One of the best secret burgers in the city.

Had food delivered today. The fried oysters were good but the ribs were overcooked and dry. Maybe a little more BBQ sauce would have helped? Will continue to order from them and eat there but might not get the ribs again.

I really enjoy their seafood and outdoor seating. The food is always good. In my opinion, best clam cakes in New Bedford. The fries are really good, too. Even better is that they give you complimentary clam cakes instead of bread, chips and salsa, etc. Update: 9/9/23 I still enjoy eating here. I love the clamcakes and chowder. The cocktails are really good, too. I enjoyed my Mai Tai. We sat outside even tho it was hot. We enjoy the patio area. Location is nice as it is by a scenic harbor walk and ice cream place. Added more pictures. The stuffed quahog or "stuffie" is a must-have. It has linguica and an extra kick to it without being too spicy.

Grabbed some take out seafood on a busy Friday night during lent in a heaviliy catholic region. Quoted time was way off, but that's life. I do give them credit, they atleast acknowledged it and they tried to make it right. Luckily the fish and chips were really good. Not greasy, definitely tasted fresh. The fries were even surprisingly good, not soggy, still had some crunch despite the take out. Went with Clam chowder and stuffed quahog as well. They were okay. Place has a lot of awards, did see a lot of 2nd place finishes and a couple wins. They are definitely one of the better seafood restaurants in the area.
